The Estate is truly a family affair headed by Graeme and Ann Shaw, who oversee the operation. Their two children, Tanya and Michael, are both fully employed in the family business as well as Tanya’s husband Michael.

Four Winds Vineyard love the simple things; making great wine and wood-fired pizzas.
What started out as one couple’s dream to grow and sell grapes has turned into an inter-generational family business.
Four Winds Vineyard now grows grapes, makes wine and has a cellar door on site, so that you can come and sit amongst the vines and enjoy the Four Winds wines with delicious, in house wood-fired pizzas.
CLONAKILLA WINERY

It has been a remarkable journey for Clonakilla. When John Kirk planted the first vines in 1971 he had no idea that his vineyard would one day be celebrated as one of the best in the country. Along the way there have been trials and tribulations as well as moments of unprecendented success.
Over time something important has become clear: Murrumbateman and Shiraz are one of those rare combinations in the world of wine that can produce something truly exciting.
COLLECTOR WINES

Collector Wines began in 2005 with a handful of cool climate shiraz and a winemaker determined to make elegant, long-lived wines. The winery now makes highly awarded wines that can be found in the best restaurants in Australia. The grapes come from vineyards dotted around the Canberra District and region, but the cellar door is still in the heart of country Collector, just forty minutes from Canberra. At the cellar door, in the Old Collector Inn built around 1829, you can enjoy a tasting by the fire in winter or by the kitchen garden in summer, take home some handmade pottery by Kate McKay Ceramics, and finish with lunch next door at the cafe. Arrive by Marked Tree Road for breathtaking views of Lake George, then sip on the Marked Tree Red shiraz, whose vintages have won the prestigious Red Wine of Provenance award.
